Safety Precautions During the Holidays

So the holidays are coming up. Are you ready for all the lights and garland? Are you ready to get that tree strapped to the roof of your car? We all get excited when thinking about this time of the year, but there are some extra precautions you need to take before venturing out this holiday season. Avoid driving alone at night. You always want to have someone with you when the sun sets. This may be tough but you can schedule your night trips with friends or family. Invite someone a week in advance for a night of shopping. Make sure to lock all of your doors securely. Set the alarm if you have one. Always park your car in a well-lit area for added security. Never park next to vehicles with heavily tinted windows. Be conscience of where you park. Look around and get a landmark to guide you back. Make sure those gifts are locked in the trunk. Never leave valuables on your seats that are vulnerable to thieves. Do not go to your vehicle if you see suspicious people around. Find the mall security guard to escort you. Gerber Collision and Glass wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season.
